This is to all my detractors! I too, once had to put my rank on the line as a SGT . I was given orders to park our C7 track ( often used by Grunt commanders as a mobile command post, although not designed for that.) To park it just below the crest of a hill with the antenna's above the top of the hill. I was Comm Chief, not trained in AmTrac operations, but the only NCO there. The crew Chief , a lance corporal came to me and said , NO we cannot do that, the brakes could come unlocked and the vehicle could roll down the hill, it is against safety rules. So I scouted the hill and found a relatively flat spot near the top and instructed the crew chief to park it there sideways such that it would not roll down the hill. ( A compromise in my opinion ) . The Grunts XO, a Captain, later came up and addressed me as to why not his CO's request was not
carried out ! I stated that we could not carry the order out for safety reasons expressed by my crew. He said " You mean that you do not reccomend it? " I said " Sir word it whatever way you like to whom wants to know, however it is not happenning, My CO says safety is number one priority, and I'm backing my crew who says it is not safe!"
About an hour later I was summoned to the Grunt's CO , a Major , to give him an explanation. I gave my explanation and still refused his order.
Next morning my CO ( a Major ) shows up and starts reaming the crew for the Amtrac being parked where it was. I stopped him immediately and said Sir, this is not on them , it is on me! I then gave him the rundown. He was so pissed off that he went down and reamed out Not only the CO and XO of the Grunts, but all of the other officers too! My hide was saved !

 

This actually tells us all we need to know about Scheller. He is no whistle blower. He is no marine standing up for what is right. Scheller is a treasonous conservative/Republican player.


Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) testified on Thursday at the military trial of Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller. Greene was one of three Republicans lawmakers who spoke on behalf of Scheller at the sentencing phase of his court-martial.

So now we're demonizing the legal process cause, you know, deplorable.

Sheller and MTG green are in cahoots. That proves it right there. There is no bigger treasonous conservative/Republican then her and it was all just a right wing publicity stunt. Because there are several ways to get his concerns and frustrations addressed. But he chose to be an attention whore social media star for the right.

 

The Military Court after review, and Scheller's plea's of guilty, Gave a maximum, penalty of "Letter of Reprimand" which effectively ruins an officers career. He could have still stayed in for another three years, but would never have got the "Eagles" for Full Bird. Instead he gave it all up, which he wouldn't have had to.

Results : A Lt. Col no one ever heard of , has literally become known to everyone in the US, and pretty much has an instant chance to win as a Congressman or Senator! Due
to Joe Talibiden's Afghanistan debacle!

We the People have been dismayed about the Executive and Legislative branches, hamstringing the military from actually winning wars ! Stumbler to quick to label to label people as "traitors" ! This man is a Patriot and has the military record to prove it !

 

Upon further research I find this as well:

Defense attorney Timothy Parlatore said he thinks the sentence was fair.

“We were happy with the sentence. I think the judge carefully considered all of the facts and circumstances of this case, and the sentence was an appropriate reflection of what Lt. Col. Scheller did,” he said.

“After hearing what government said and going back and viewing videos, [the judge] found a lot more context to them than the cherry-picked statements the government presented,” Parlatore said.


According to Parlatore, Judge Hines criticized the government’s conduct, including for leaking case documents about Scheller. The judge said it’s not the court’s role to investigate the leak, but that there should be a probe into the matter.

 

This whole thing makes me sick the fact that this guy spent any time in the brig , or Or jail whatever you wanna call it is fucking disgusting . Horrible . Just because these people are generals kernels or whatever the fuck they are doesn’t matter to me . What they did was wrong I don’t care how high powered you are here in the United States if you do wrong it’s wrong and you should be called out for it . These generals do not run Do United States . There is such a thing called freedom of speech still he called these people out he did what was right and now he hast to pay the cost , they think . He hast to pay the cost Because he did the right thing to do . This shit really has to end ., Innocent people going to jail because another guy doesn’t like what he said .
